Supporting an FMCG through change
The challenge: Our client wanted support integrating a new company into the business after a recent acquisition. The immediate focus was managing 150 redundancies.
The approach: Redundancies are never pleasant, so we always suggest our clients offer support and outplacement services to affected employees. We looked at opportunities to transition employees into other areas of the business and provided outplacement training for those who could not be transferred.
The outcome: Of the 150 affected employees, 20 were transferred to an existing site, while the remaining 130 all found new jobs.
